| It is technically private property, but it is open to the public. There are no gates, signs, or markers indicating that you are anywhere special. |

Over the years, a wide variety of outdoorsmen have purchased land in this area in small plots ranging from 5 to 20 acres or more. |
| There are no fences separating property except for the private property surrounding the Wilderness, and it has always been understood that anyone with property within the Wilderness is free to roam where they please. There are, however, many private cabins in the area, and common sense should dictate what areas should be avoided. |
